Daguerreotype:
Before:
After:
I emulated a daguerreotype and tinted it a blue gray to make it look
a little older. I added a scratched up concrete wall to give it texture.
I made the corners of this photo look very warn out.
Daguerreotype:
Before:
After:
I emulated a daguerreotype of the portland sign and tinted
it a light brown to make it look older and worn. I used a frame
around the ends that made it look a little washed out. I used a ruff
concrete wall to add texture.
Cyanotype:
Before:
After:
I emulated a cyanotype and with this I used a paint brush tool that
was black so when placed on the photo it would only show the part
of the photo in the black. I tinted it a dark blu end added a concrete
background.
Gum Bichromate:
Before:
After:
I emulated a gum bichromate using a photo taken on
the golf course. I used a layer of yellow, pink and blue
to make the photo look like a summer cold day. You
can still tell the different textures even with the flat concrete
wall I used.
Gum Bichromate:
Before:
After:
I emulated a gum bichromate using a dark green and pink. After
layering the photos I tinted the whole photo blue to make the
bridge and building pop.
Tilt Shift:
Before
After:
I picked the middle of the photo to stay in focus so the buildings in
front would look like they are closer than they really are and everything
else will look farther. When editing it I made the colors pop more.
