Color and Mood

This photo by Zian Dinh sets a relaxing mood by having calm colors. I think the photographer decided to take a photo with this venue because a beach sends a relaxing feeling to most people. When editing the photo I think the photographer brought down the brightness to have more clam colors.

This photo by Tracy has a sad and calm mood. The photographer most likely took this photo because of the rain dripping down the window. By darkening the photo the colors make it look like a very dark and calm day. She most likely edited the colors darker to also bring out the yellow from the street lights.

Project 2-Framing and Composition

For this project we took photos using different framing and composition techniques. When making the contact sheet we decided on three photos from each techniques. We had to edit at least one photo in each category, then with the remainder slots we were allowed to edit any of the photos we wanted that were left. We took photos of objects downtown using the different techniques. In general I made most of the photos brighter and edited them to make the details stand out more. I decided on most of these photos because they fit the framing techniques the best and also looked very detailed and bright after being edited.
